WHO'S BROOKLYN?
Welcome to my creative corner! I'm Brooklyn, a digital and watercolour artist born in a cozy town in southwestern Ontario. I now live in London, Ontario. From the earliest days of my childhood, art has been my unwavering passion. I can still vividly recall the moment my mom, with genuine excitement, declared, "You should be an artist!" upon seeing my first piece of art. Those magical words set me on a lifelong journey dedicated to capturing the beauty of the world around me.
In school, my artistic talents flourished, earning me stellar grades in art class while maintaining a more average performance in other subjects. After high school, I embarked on a creative adventure at Sheridan College, immersing myself in the fundamentals of art for a year. Subsequently, I delved into the world of graphic design at George Brown College for a transformative three-year period.
As a digital artist, my canvas comes alive with realistic wildlife and nature images. While I find joy in various mediums, my heart truly belongs to watercolors, where I explore the depth and fluidity of this captivating form of expression.
Beyond my artistic pursuits, I proudly embrace my identity as a transgender woman, living life loudly and proudly. As an active member of the LGBTQ community, I celebrate diversity and the freedom to be authentically myself. Alongside my creative endeavors, I've had the privilege of raising three incredible children who have now blossomed into amazing adults.
